Working with Daniela and Francesca from SugarEvents was truly a pleasure. Throughout the entire planning process, they were incredibly responsive, always quick to answer questions, offer advice, and help us navigate the countless decisions that come with planning a wedding. From our very first meeting with Daniela, we were immediately impressed by her professionalism and honesty, and if we could go back, we would choose SugarEvents a thousand times over. She and her lovely coordinator, Francesca, guided us throughout the nine months of planning, always being available and ready to offer advice and suggestions tailored to our wishes. When we got engaged and started thinking of our wedding day in Tuscany, I immediately thought of Daniela to help us organize it: she previously organized the wedding of a dear friend of mine on lake Como and it was beautifully executed. It was a long process but Daniela and Francesca were always helpful and responsive and they had great advice. With half the guests being Italian and the other half international, we wanted something elegant, refined, timeless, and I had a lot of care for every detail. Eventually the result was astonishing, magical, and so much better than what we had imagined. Many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they attended in their lives. Daniela has great taste, is attentive to your budget, and looks for solutions that suit your preferences, while making sure that the overall theme is cohesive.

We have had nothing but the best experience with SugarEvents. They helped us coordinate everything from thousands of miles away, from beginning to end. We live in the United States and had our wedding on Lake Garda (Isola del Garda). They coordinated venue acquisition, catering, lights, audio, flowers, video, photography, entertainment (singers, dancers, musicians), and so much more. They were able to help us with getting our guests to and from the island as well.

When we say, we can recommend Sugar Events as wedding planners, we mean it maybe like no other couple. To select our wedding planners, we contacted a venue at Lake Como where we wanted to get married. They shared with us their preferred supplier list of wedding planners – we expected perhaps 5-6 .. however there were just over 150. We reviewed them all. After our own selection criteria we contacted 33 of them for quotes and packages. No single wedding planner was faster, had a better value offering, were as attentive and personalized in their messaging. It was an easy selection. SugarEvents is a company who listens, are attentive, have high attention to detail, are precise and offer solutions. Given their experience around Lake Como, we benefitted from some preferential offers from wider suppliers. We liked their approach; they kept us on track without being pushy and pushed back on some things that might have been a little unrealistic in a friendly and cooperative manner. On the wedding day, they showed the perfect balance of structure, sticking to the plan and thoughtful flexibility where needed. We couldn’t recommend SugarEvents more to anyone who is planning their wedding around Lake Como. A warm, heartfelt and huge thank you from both of us for helping us achieve our dream wedding. Daniela and her team have greatly supported us in all the wedding preparations aspects, suggesting locations, catering, music, ceremony, and all others services according with our needs, necessity and requests. As we live far away from Italy, Daniela was able to properly arrange all our visits in Como for choosing the location and other services, prior to the wedding event, avoiding us a lot of headache in traveling often. My husband and I planned our entire wedding over email, a wedding in Italy… we live in Los Angeles. We never visited the venue, we never did the tasting, and I did my hair + makeup trial the day before the wedding. I would not recommend anyone do this, UNLESS, you are working with SugarEvents. Our wedding was perfect. The food, the vendors, the location, the music, the flowers… everything was flawless. Daniela and Francesca have impeccable taste and being that we couldn’t be in Italy to see everything firsthand, we trusted their recommendations every step of the way.
