Lovely wedding on the shores of Lake Como
This young couple of Nigerian and Irish origin, residing in UK chose the splendid setting of Villa Geno for their beautiful wedding. Both the bride and the groom got ready in a private villa in Como, surrounded respectively by their bridesmaids and groomsmen.
The bride arrived at Villa Geno accompanied by her sisters on a Venetian taxi boat, which took her directly to the private dock of the villa, two steps away from the ceremony area, where there is the famous fountain. A wonderful arch of flowers awaits her while all the guests was waiting her arrival.
The groom entered with his best man and then there was a procession of couples formed by bridesmaids with their respective companions. The ceremony was celebrated by their Pastor, a truly emotional function, full of moments of prayer and religious songs.
At the end, after all the first pictures and greetings were taken and the bride and the groom left to enjoy a romantic boat ride on Lake Como. The party continued with a delicious aperitif in the garden, where the guests were able to taste typical dishes of the Italian tradition.
The dinner was instead settled up in the main room on the upper floor of Villa Geno. The 50 guests were divided into four imperial tables of different sizes, decorated with floral runners and arranged so as to leave the necessary space in the center of the room to be able to dance.
In fact, this was a truly dynamic dinner, the bridesmaids and groomsmen made their entrance in pairs with a song and a dance dedicated to each one and the moments of celebration and games were marked by the presence of the master of ceremony, a truly engaging figure.
The whole event was an explosion of music and good vibes, after the cutting of the cake in the garden the party continued inside until late.
Just want to say a massive thank you to Daniela and Francesca. They were super hands on and helpful throughout what can be a very stressful process. They took our points on board and gave good advice when needed. We had the best wedding day and everyone has not stopped raving about what an unbelievable day the wedding was. Super grateful to them!
