A splendid wedding on the shores of Lake Como
This young and beautiful couple chose Villa Geno as the location for their wedding, an amazing villa overlooking Lake Como and located a few steps from the center. The 60 guests, who came from the United States and Asia for the great event, were therefore able to savor the wonder of the lake and its magic.
The bride got ready at the Hotel Terminus together with her bridesmaids, with toasts, photos and laughter, while the groom decided to get ready in the villa in the company of his groomsmen.
The symbolic ceremony, celebrated by their Pastor, was set up in the splendid garden with a stunning lake view, next to the famous fountain of the villa. Four white columns supporting delicate floral compositions were the backdrop for the bride and groom.
The celebration began with the procession of the couple’s parents, the entry of bridesmaids and groomsmen, followed by the groom.
To anticipate the bride’s entrance, with the path marked by a white runner of about 10 m, a very sweet flower girl who scattered the petals before her passage.
Once the ceremony and the ritual pictures were over, the guests were invited to the aperitif, set up on the terrace and in the beautiful bar room with frescoed ceiling. To welcome them they found a delicious traditional Italian buffet, consisting of local cheeses, cured meats, breads of all types and delicious finger foods.
Meanwhile, the newlyweds enjoyed a romantic boat ride on a Venetian taxi boat that took them on a tour of the lake.
The dinner was set up in the marquee located in the main garden. The spouses had their own dedicated table in the center of the veranda while the guests were arranged on three different imperial tables decorated with games of bottles, candles and flowers of various types in shades of pink, lilac and coral and enriched with the presence of lemons and oranges. A truly immersive and colorful mise en place, elegant and balanced.
The feast went on with speeches from family and friends, dancing and laughter, when the cutting cake time came, a delicious millefeuille covered with red fruits, we distributed bright sparkles to all the guests and it was a truly emotional moment. In fact, the guests joined the couple, enveloping them with their love.
The evening then continued with the DJ set and dancing until late, a truly fun-filled event.
