A timeless wedding on the shore of Lake Como
This wonderful couple from Taiwan but based in Seattle chose to celebrate their most important day on the shores of Lake Como. In fact, the Mandarin Oriental Lake Como hosted their wedding, the luxurious 5-star hotel that perfectly combines Italian elegance with delicate oriental charm.
It was an intimate wedding, with 30 guests, including close friends and family, who were able to experience an unforgettable event. At the beginning of the day the couple wanted to dedicate a moment all to themselves, with an exciting first look and a shooting before the actual ceremony. The bride wore a veil beautifully decorated with floral motifs, both were very elegant indeed.
The ceremony was set up in the Amphitheatre, decorated with wonderful columns of flowers in shades of white, pale pink and apricot. A true immersion of colors with the lake as a backdrop, which always leaves everyone breathless. The touching ceremony was accompanied by the sweet music of a classical trio composed of harp, violin and cello.
The guests were then invited to reach the aperitif area while the bride and groom took the opportunity to take a romantic boat ride on the timeless Riva. An unforgettable experience.
The dinner was instead held inside the beautiful glass greenhouse overlooking the lake and the gardens. The play of natural light allowed the colors of the dinner to stand out, a mix of green and shades of pink adorned the tables, on which centerpieces made up of golden structures stood out. The interior of the greenhouse has instead been embellished with cascading plants.
The exciting cutting of the cake, a delicious millefeuille, began the rest of the evening, which continued by accompanying the guests with a live performance by a band.
