Villa Balbiano is a splendid villa located in Borgo di Ossuccio and overlooking Lake Como. The villa is surrounded by a centuries-old park and is perfectly set in the magnificent setting that the lake offers.
Villa Balbiano originally belonged to Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, who built it towards the end of the sixteenth century and used it as his main residence.
About a century later it was revisited by Cardinal Angelo Maria Durini who made the villa a place to host elegant banquets, parties and dances.
The famous driveway is bordered by box hedges and plane and cypress trees, has an outdoor swimming pool and a private dock, while on its three floors there are 6 luxury suites. The garden is often used to celebrate symbolic ceremonies.
A location with a breathtaking view and refined elegance that in 2021 hosted the shooting of the famous film “House of Gucci”, by Ridley Scott.
