A beauty escape surrounded by the nature of Valle d’Aosta and Monte Rosa as background
Getting married in the middle of summer but enjoying the mild climate and the beauty of the mountains, this was the desire of our bride and groom, a young couple residing in Milan and particularly fond of the place where they spent many holidays and unique moments with their families, Champoluc, in Valle d’Aosta.
To celebrate their wedding, they chose the Au Charmant Petit Lac hotel, in the center of Champoluc and immersed in a suggestive and breathtaking panorama. This is a 5 star hotel, a very modern wooden building built entirely with renewable resources.
The guests, the day before the wedding, were able to enjoy what the structure and the surrounding area offered: a relaxing afternoon in the spa overlooking Monte Rosa, local wine tastings, a trek to discover the Ayas Valley or a match of paddle.
The ceremony was held at the Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Martino in the splendid village of Antagnod, total white settings were the setting for an exciting ritual. Then, their approximately 100 guests were invited to return to the hotel.
They were welcomed by a very rich aperitif set up in the garden, overlooking the water and with the woods and mountains as a panorama. The guests were able to taste delicious typical dishes from Valle d’Aosta, including local cheeses, selected meats, show cooking of polenta, apple fritters, chestnuts and many other tasty foods, all accompanied by the notes of the sax who played for the entire time.
The dinner was set up in the internal room on the lower floor, the two imperial tables with exposed wood in country chic style were decorated with a runner full of flowers, vases and candles. The pearl decorated underplate and a carved wooden placeholder with the guests’ name embellished the mise en place.
The cutting of the cake, a delicious 4-tier wedding cake filled with vanilla sponge cake and cocoa cream with chocolate flakes and raspberries, gave the newlyweds and their guests an unforgettable moment.
The evening then continued inside, where to warm up the atmosphere there was an inviting sweets buffet and the DJ set, always accompanied by the saxophonist, who kept everyone dancing until late at night!
They gave us directions in order to obtain a fantastic wedding and they were always there to sustain us and to give us advice in order to make the good choice. Everything was planned in the details and we lived the day in best best way because we were sure that they were there to support us!
